Cosmonaut 52 Spray is formulated using our proprietary IoPlex process which provides a steady and stable supply of available free iodine for a quick kill, long, stable shelf life, and gentler effect on teat skin. It is formulated to withstand freeze or thaw cycles without the loss or fall-out of iodine. Formulated with a 0.5% Iodine concentration and a comprehensive Glycerin based emollient package, Cosmonaut 52 Spray has a rich, smooth feel, and is formulated with safer alternatives to Nonylphenol Ethoxylates (NPEs).

WHAT ARE NONYLPHENOL ETHOXYLATES (NPEs)

Nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) are endocrine disrupters and pose a risk of toxicity to aquatic life. They can also have negative residual effects on both animals and humans. NPEs are widely used to manufacture teat sprays and dairy cleaning agents. Some milk buyers in Europe, China and other countries no longer purchase milk from farms that use NPEs.
